Eligibility criteria for CAT Exam :- 1. Candidate should be complete graduation from recognized Universities. 2. Percentage should be greater than 50% (relaxation for SC/ST Caste) 3. Final Appearing candidates also applicable. You are now 12th standard so you are not applicable for CAT Exam . Only graduate candidate can apply here . CAT stands for Common Admission Test. This test is conducted for admission into MBA programs in IIMS, IITs and many other colleges. Graduation with minimum 50% marks is the minimum eligibility criteria for appearing in CAT. So, you are too early to ask this question but if you start working on your English Comprehension and aptitude skills from now on then it will be really helpful for you to crack this examination. Having secure 47% in 10th class has no significance for applying CAT as the minimum educational qualification is graduation with 50% marks. You have not mentioned your present qualification so if you are interested for CAT then prepare for the same and will be eligible after graduation. CAT- COMMON ADMISSION TEST is an entrance test conducted by Indian Institute of Management for admission to MBA(Master in Business Administration) in top colleges of IIMs in India. The eligible candidate should either appeared for the final graduation degree course or passed from any stream with at least 50% marks is eligible to apply for CAT. Infact, this is going to play an important role in your eligibility to CAT Exam. CAT stands for Common Admission Test which is being conducted by IIMs (Indian Institute of Management) in order to give admission for Management related courses like MBA in reputed institutes like B-Schools and IIMs. This is an online exam conducted once in a year. This exam is having high competition as per number of candidates. Here is the required eligibility criteria for this Exam. -One should have completed Graduation with any of the stream from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% of marks. -Relaxation is there in percentage of marks upto 5% for the candidates of SC/ST category. -Candidates of any age are eligible to take this exam if they meet the required academic qualification. You don't need to worry about the percentage of marks that you have secured in your 10th class which is 47%. It does not have any importance to your eligibility to CAT Exam. If your highest level of academic qualification is 10th class, I am sorry to say that you are not eligible to take CAT Exam.
