In 2011 the exam is held on March 27 in designated test centers. --The AFCAT is a 2 hour long exam which will have objective type question. --Each of these objective questions will be provided with 4 options as answers. --The candidate must select the correct one from the given option. --The Syllabus of AFCAT exam will test students in the areas like Reasoning, Numerical and verbal ability. Other than these students will also be tested in General awareness and Knowledge. --The number of question will be 100 or more. --For preparing for the AFCAT candidates must prepare by solving previous years question papers and also must refer to books and guides indented for this exam. Students can also refer to other competitive exams like Bank PO, LIC, NICL etc. All the Best.................... |

Re: Syllabus for AFCAT? Indian Air force conduct Air force Common Test (AFCT) for Ground Duty Commission (GDOC) Flying Duty Technical Duty. Since this is a common test for entry in Indian Airforce thats why syllabus is common for all the three entries. AFCAT Exams is of 2 Hr duration for 100 Question objective type and there Is 1/3 rd negative marking. Re: Syllabus for AFCAT? Scheme Of Syllabus: 1. The AFCAT Question Paper will have 100 questions. All questions will be of three marks each. For every correct answer the candidate will get three marks and for every wrong answer one mark will be deducted under negative marking. The total time allotted for the paper is two hours. 2. The syllabus of AFCAT is like other competitive exams... all multiple choice questions of 100 marks or more... time given will be two hours. to prepare for AFCAT, you can follow any competitive exam books like BANK PO books, MBA entrance books, LIC exam books, etc.... you can also buy books for AFCAT preparation.... but the above books are enough to pass the AFCAT. the questions are same. |

Exam will be of 2 hrs Duration with Objective questions. There is No particular Syllabus for AFCAT, you need to refer on your own for above named topics in Details. |

AFCAT 2011 sample model paper, syllabus, exam pattern IAF would be conducting AFCAT (Air force common admission test) on March 27, 2011 and here some information about AFCAT 2011 exam pattern, syllabus and how you should prepare for the test. Besides that some sample questions as well. AFCAT 2011 would be of 2 hours with multiple choice of questions, and the sections are: 1. Reasoning 2. Numerical ability 3. Verbal ability (English) 4. General Awareness, GK 5. General Aptitude The number of questions would be around 100 or may be more. As far as preparation for AFCAT 2011 based on previous years questions paper) exam is concerned then let me tell you that it is no different than other such competitive exams like bank po, LIC AAO, NICL etc. So keep on the same line. This article would be helpful in your preparation besides guiding that what books you should buy and study.
