Re: What to do after M.Sc in Statistics? Since you have done Masters in statistics, you may apply for Indian Statistical Service exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission. The minimum eligible age to apply for the exam is 21 years. The maximum age limit to apply for exam is 30 years for candidates belonging to general category, 33 years for candidates belonging to OBC category and 35 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST category. You go in Economic survey of India,You can join any bank as a Statistical officer,you can get in to Reserach/Consultancy organisations,You can get a lucrative package for teaching Statistics in Business schools of repute,you can become a associate professor in an Engineering college,You can get an opportunity in Government Census department and there are many other career options.Further if you are interested in Education,you can attempt the UGC NET and can take up Research career. |
