Re: Can I be eligible for Navy after doing 10th with PCM and 12th with Commerce(Maths)? Hi friend you can not join Indian Navy after 10+2 with commerce. For joining Indian Navy, physics, chemistry and math are necessary. But you can join defence as UPSC and other civil services exams like IPS, IAS, IRS, IFS etc. after your graduation in any stream from a recognized University with no required minimum number of marks. Age limit for CDS is 19 to 25. And for other exams is 21 to 30. For detail go to www.upsc.nic.in ALL THE BEST

It is good to see your interest in joining in Indian Navy right after joining in +2,but still you cannot apply for Indian Navy with doing +2 especially with commerce as subject. There are exams which you can write for joining in Navy,but regarding those exams there are certain eligibility conditions which you need to satisfy to apply for them. As regarding them,you need to have completed physics and mathematics as subjects for applying for that exam. You have said that you are a commerce student,you cannot apply for the exams as you don't satisfy the education qualification for the exams. |

Dear BRO Sure...You can join Indian Navy after completing 12th in Commerce with mathematics subject. 1)If you want join in Indian Navy after 12th standard. Then you should apply for NDA exam. NDA Exam conducted by UPSC twice in the year As NDA I & NDA II Exam. Eligibility Criteria for NDA Exam: -------------------------------- • You should have passed 12th standard from State board or recognized school. • There is no percentage limit mentioned for this exam. • If you are appearing in 12th then you can also apply. • Your age must be between 16.5 to 19 year. • You must be citizen of India. How to Apply for NDA Exam: ----------------------------- • You can apply for NDA exam online by using the website:http://www.upsconline.nic.in Important dates for NDA 2012 exam: ------------------------------------- For NDA I • Notification Announced : 31/12/2011 • Last date to apply : 30/01/2012 • Examination date : 15/04/2012.
