Re: Minimum Percentage required in B.Tech to appear for GATE Exam? dear friend, To appear in GATE exam no such percentage of aggregate is required... Eligibility for GATE exam:- 1.Candidate has to complete the bachelor's degree in the fields like- BE/B.tech/B.Arch .. Or, Candidate has to complete the master degree in the fields like-MBA/MCA/M.Sc etc.. 2.Final year candidates of under graduation or post graduation course are also eligible. 3.No number of attempts restriction.. 4.No age limit.. So, go for GATE exam.. You just not need to worry about the percentage aggregate of B.tech course.. All the best.. |

Re: Minimum Percentage required in B.Tech to appear for GATE Exam? dear friend, According to the Eligibility of the GATE: 1:You should have a Bachelor's degree having at least 45% in Engineering or Technology or Architecture or Pharmacy of 4 years after 10+2. 2:You can also apply if you are in the final or pre-final year examination of the Master Degree. or 3:You have to be a Master degree holders in any branch of Science like Physics,Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Applications etc.... 4:You can also apply if you are in the final or pre-final year examination of the Master Degree. for more about GATE visit :: http://www.onestopgate.com and http://www.gateforum.com good luck. |

For admission in M-TECH course through GATE exam , there is no require any marks criteria.Some IIT want 60% marks in B-TECH degree.  ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR GATE:-
(a) Bachelor’s degree holders in Engineering/Technology or its equivalent. (b) Bachelor’s degree holders in Science/Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Science/Electronics/ followed by qualifications obtained through an examination conducted by professional societies recognized by UPSC/AICTE. (c) Bachelor’s degree holders in Architecture/Design (for M Des program only) (d) Master’s degree holders in Physics with Electronics/Instrumentation (for M Tech programs). **There are no age limit for candidate. **3rd year student are eligible for GATE exam. **GATE score are valid for 2 years. **Final year student are eligible for GATE exam.
