Re: Courses to do to get research job in IIST? sir,this is susena i am studing 12th class now.i have completed my 10th and 11 with 92% and 90%.i am very intreste in space science i want to know that iist is providing courses for students like me to become space scientist in NASA.i am not intersted in working ISRO. |

Re: Courses to do to get research job in IIST? whatis b-tech course and what does it involve and i want to go for purely researching work in isro as a scientist so should i give ISAT ?or is there any way to get into ISRO as a scientist faiyaz sir could you answer my question |

Re: Courses to do to get research job in IIST? dear friend, iist takes 3 departments: cs,mechanical and ece. going through their entrance you could join isro. forms comes in feb,exams in april. For nasa you can fill as any candidates,from whatever branch. they give vocational training after graduation too. |

Re: Courses to do to get research job in IIST? dear friend, for IIST: Eligibility: M.Sc in Atmospheric Science/Meteorology/ Physics with minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA on 10 Scale with good academic record. Desirable: Experience in Mesoscale Modeling and data assimilation. Age: 28 years as on August 1, 2010. Relaxable for sc/st/obc. Re: Courses to do to get research job in IIST? Well, first let me tell you about IIST. It is an Autonomous Institute like- IIT, IISC, IISER. IIST is basically started in 2007 for catering the need of Engineering scientist in ISRO. Previously admission to its B.Tech was based on IITJEE, but now ownwards it conducts its own entrance ISAT for admiting students in Three B.Tech programs viz: Avionics, Aerospace and Physical Science Engineering. At present IIST have only these three courses. Eligibility for ISAT: Candidate must have at least 70% aggregate in 10th and 70% aggregate in 12th also including PCM. For PAttern, Scheme, and other details, kindly go through ISAT 2010 Brochure (Attached below). After successful completion of your B.Tech you will be observed as an IRO scientist ina bond of 2 years. Means if you dont want to work with ISRO after completing your B.Tech from there you have to pay IIST Rs. 10 Lacs as a cost which IIST has expenditure on you, because Education at IIST is free of Cost. Courses to do to get research job in IIST? Sir, I have studied in a matriculation school. I have completed my tenth std with 94% I have interest in joining IIST. What can I do... or what should i study to enter it? I am in my 11th std now.. |
