HI, My daughter studied in Singapore upto 10th. Now she is doing her 11th in Bangalore. Both me and my husband did our grduation in Karnataka. Is she eligible to take CET exam in Bangalore?

Dear Sir,

I have studied in Bangalore upto the X standard (2011). I would like to know, if by opting for French language in PUC, would I lose on any of the eligibility criteria for Karnataka CET.

Hi dear,
According to me -
for appearing in karnataka cet

you should be studied in the state for atleast 7years without any long gap

so,you are not eligible now,appear for next year.

for appearing in karnataka cet

you should be studied in the state for atleast 7years without any long gap

so,you are not eligible now,appear for next year.

Hi,
My daughter has studied her Ist std in Bangalore and from 2nd to 6th she did her studies in Hyderabad. Then from 7th to 12th she did in Bangalore . And we both parents did full education in Bangalore. Is my daughter eligible to appear in karnataka CET.

Sorry, you are not eligible for Karnataka CET, 2010.

To be eligible for appearing in Karnataka CET the candidate should have studied and passed in one or more Government or Government recognised educational institutions located in the State of Karnataka for a minimum period of SEVEN years.

As per as the CET you should be having 7 years of stay there.

for appearing in to CET exam and to get a admission you should have passed the 12th standard...

Hi Friends,

This is Joash. I want to know whether PUC or ISC marks are considered with the CET marks and if yes what is the percentage split considered.
Also since ISC results come very late does this effect selection process.

non-Karnataka students (students not eligible to be considered in the Karnataka quota) cannot appear for the CET. They can only appear for the COMEDK examination.

Cet Bangalore Eligibility

Candidates who satisfy any one of the following CET BANGALORE ELIGIBILITY Criteria ONLY are eligible for selection of Government seats in Government, Each condition is specified as a clause and is individually referred by a code. The documents to be produced during seat selection process in support of the claim for each of the Clauses are also detailed below the respective clauses.

st nd th st th academic years commencing from 1 standard to 2 PUC / 12 standard as on 1 July of the year in which the Entrance Test is held and must have appeared and passed either SSLC / 10 standard or
nd th 2 PUC / 12 standard examination from Karnataka State.
In case of the candidate who had taken more than one year to pass a class or standard, the years of academic study is counted as one year only.
