Re: Can a candidate with 47% marks in B.Com opt for MBA?

dear friend,
You want to go for MBA course after completion of B.Com course..

Then you have to appear in entrance exams like- CAT/MAT/XAT/SNAP etc.
After qualifying in any of these entrance exams you will be able to get admission in MBA course..

Eligibility for these entrance exam:------

1.For CAT exam--->>Candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade with 50% aggregate from a recognized university..
For other exams--->> Candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade from a recognized university..
2.Final year candidates are also eligible for the exam..

3.Candidate should not have any pending backlogs during graduation..

4.No upper age limit..

5.No number of attempt restriction..

These are the eligibility criteria you have to fulfill.
As you have secured 47% aggregate in graduation then you are not eligible for the CAT exam...
But you can apply for other MBA entrance exams..

So, get prepare for these exams..
All the best..

If you are from General category candidate then with 47% marks in Graduation you are not eligible to apply for MBA.But you are from SC/ST category then only you can apply for MBA.

For admission to MBA course you have to appear for entrance exam like CAT/MAT/XAT etc.

CAT - COMMON ADMISSION TEST is an entrance examination conducted by IIMs for admission to MBA(Master in Business Administration) course in IIMs.

The eligible candidate should have completed graduation degree from any discipline with 50% marks from a recognised University and there is no age bar for admission to MBA. For SC/ST candidate the percentage of marks is 45% in graduation.

Hello my dear friend,

Sorry,You are not eligible to apply for MBA course because you are not having less than 50% of marks in your graduation.To apply for MBA course you must satisfy following eligibility criteria;

>>You must be completed your graduation with 50% of marks from recognized university and if you are belonging to SC and ST candidates 45% of marks are enough

>>There is no age limit

So you have not satisfied above eligibility criteria,so you are not eligible.

If you want to get admission in to MBA,You must be qualified in CAT,MAT,XAT,ICET etc entrance exams then only you are allowed to pursue MBA Course. In MBA there are number of specializations are available like Finance, marketing, systems,hr, IT,Systems management,Hospital management,Pharmaceutical management etc.
