To join CBI you have to appear in the SSC conducted Combined Graduate Level exams

This exam is held in three stages- that is Prelims, Mains and Interview
ELIGIBILTY --- Graduation pass in any stream
No Minimum Percentage is required in Graduation

AGE- Minimum 18 years
Maximum 27 years
AGE Relaxations- 3 years for OBC candidates, 7 years for SC/ST candidates


Questions will be asked from the Below Sections in this Exams:
>> General Intelligence and Reasoning
>> General Awareness
>> English Comprehension
>> Quantitative Aptitude

Hi dear..............
The details information for CBI exam are as follows.......

The eligibility criteria are as follows........
*The candidates should be a graduate in any stream , from a recognize university.
*The age limit is 22- 30 yrs,.
*There is a age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC.
Then apply for the exam if you are selected then you can get the jobs .

CBI- CENTRAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION to become a CBI officer you have to appear for the examination like CGPE(Combined Graduation Preliminary Examination) conducted by SSC(Staff Selection Commission) every year.

The eligible candidate should be a graduate in any discipline from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 27 years of age, in order to apply for CGPE. There is upper age relaxation for SC/ST candidate up to 5 years and that to for OBC candidate up to 3 years. There is some prescribed physical fitness for the eligible candidate.

The selection is through three phases:-

Written test comprises of all objective type questions.
Personal Interview
Medical Test

The CGPE can be applied through both off line and on line mode.

CBI can be expanded as Central Bureau of Investigation. This is can be defined as a crime branch department. To join in this department as CBI officer you must clear an exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission commonly called as UPSC. This exam is named as CGPE which can be expanded as Combined Graduate Preliminary Exam.

1. For appearing in this examination you must be an Indian Citizen.

2. You must have finished your graduation of any stream from a recognized
university of India.

3. Your age must be above 21 years and below 27years.

4. You also must be physically fit for appearing in this examination.

You also can join in CBI by Short Service Commission.

Scheme of the Test:

i) The test will be of two hours duration and the medium of question paper will be English only.

ii) The test will be an objective type with multiple choices of answers and will carry a maximum of 100 marks.

iii) There will be penalty for wrong answer. Every wrong answer will carry a deduction of one third of the marks assigned to that question. If no answer is marked for a question, there will be no penalty for that question.

To become a CBI officer you have to appear in Combined graduate level exam , which is conducted by staff selection commission to recruit students for sub-inspector service....

Before appearing in the exam you have to fulfill some eligibility criteria first..

Eligibility criteria for combined graduate level exam:------------>>

1)Candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade from a recognized university.
2)Final year candidate can also apply for the exam.
3)Age should be in between 20-27 years.
4)candidate must be physically fit..
5)Candidate should be a citizen of India.


These are the eligibility criteria you have to fulfill.
The notification of CBI exam publish in employment newspaper..So, read employment newspaper..
