Re: Age requirement in IES exam? Dear Friend , As per your Date of Birth , you are eligible for IES , 2010 because you have attended the age of 21 years on or before 1st of august , 2010. So , you can apply for the exam easily if you have completed your engineering degree from any recognized college / university in one of the following streams : - Civil Engineering - Mechanical Engineering - Electrical & Electronics Engineering - Electrical & Communication Engineering So , do not worry about anything and prepare well for the exam. This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. Hope the information will help you to the extent you want. |

Re: Age requirement in IES exam? dear friend,  IES entrance test or Indian Engineering Services entrance exam is designed for recruitment of engineers in government services. IES Exam Eligibility Criteria:- 1) Age Limit:- 21-30 years on the first day of august of the year of examination. 2) Educational Qualifications:- Applicable for the engineering graduates who have already completed or who are in last year. but last year students are required to produce the proof of passing engineering degree. IES Exam Selection Procedure:- 1) Written Exam:- Consist of 5 papers of 200 marks each. 2) Personality Interview: who have qualified in written test will be called for personal interview where their personality will be judged, the personality interview will be of 200 marks. Re: Age requirement in IES exam? Age Limit i. A candidate must have attained 21 years and not be over 30 years on August 1 of the year of examination. ii. The upper age limit is relaxed in specific cases as mentioned below: a. upto a maximum of 5 years if the candidate belongs to SC/ST. b. upto a maximum of 3 years if the candidate belongs to Other Backward Classes. c. upto a maximum of 5 years if the candidate had been domiciled in Jammu & Kashmir during the period between January 1, 1980 and December 31, 1989. They are One you must be an Engineering Graduate with Any One of the branch from either Civil Engineering,Mechanical Engineering,Electrical Engineering, Or Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering.
