Dont worry on the less percentage.We have many oppurtunities. In IT Company(Private) like Syntel and many other level 2-3 company's ask for less percentage. In Govt Sector also we have many job notifications which ask only 55% and greater. So dont worry on this thing.You didnt mention your branch.if you mention it would be easy for us.Any way there is fair chance if you have enough knowledge in your core subjects and little knowledge in CSE subjects like C,HTML. But your skills of expressing thing should be better if you want a good job. Since in todays market company only needs the capability of yours not your percentage. Re: Jobs with B.Tech percentage less than 60% hi friend, i am sorry to say thyis that you can not apply if they ask for 60% aggregate throughout the career. but you have certain chances if they don't ask for 60% in your school level. anyway infosys asks for 68% throughout the career in the ssc,intermediate,b.tech. also there will be some companies which will not ask for the percentage cut off in your academics and they seperately keep the tests don't worry you can apply to government jobs. all the best |

If you have mentioned your stream in engineering may be some one can help you in a better way. But still there are some MNC's those are hire students having below 60% aggregate... Like- ALSTOM, GENETH ELECTRONICS etc.. Other jobs like- 1.Bank PO exams 2.Defense exams 3.UPSC civil service exams.. etc... You can get all the information regarding these jobs from employment newspaper.. so, read employment newspaper. First of all, let me tell you that in your college itself, you can get placed on campus, if you pass the aptitude of the companies you have applied to and give a very impressing interview. If not, you have to apply off campus them. The government jobs are always open for you. In most of the GATE and PSU exams, the graduate percentage doesn't matter much. But you have to prove your knowledge in the entrance exams which are very tough and of high standards. If you clear one, then after just a round of personal interviews, you would be placed in any PSU or government sector job. For regular updates on the government jobs please Click Here You may also think about going for further post graduate in any specialization. See education always pays back, so there is no harm in trying to improve your academic records so that you may make a better life later on. After your make up your mind for post graduation and finish it, you can apply for the professors and teaching jobs. It would yield you good money, and also earn you respect. Otherwise, you can also change your desired field, and start up some small scale business on your own. That would of course require a lot of hard work, but nothing comes easy. Generally Core companies criterion is low as compared to that of IT sector companies. In general maximum companies have the following criterion- One should have a minimum 60% engineering aggregate. Maximum 4 backlogs candidates are allowed. Some companies allow candidates having maximum 1-2 years gap. One also needs to have minimum 60% marks in 12th as well as 10th. |

But you did not mentioned your stream so that I can suggest you some company name. Companies for Core department : 1.Tata Steel. 2.Tata Motors. 3.IOCL 4.DVC 5.hindustan Motors etc. If you are from software background then here some companies : 1.Wipro Tech 2.Satyam. 3.Mindfire solutions. 4.ISS technologies. 5.Accenture etc. |

Thus, one cannot take it as the last and final qualification degree, especially in the present time when the market is full of competition all around. -as far as b.tech degree course is concerned, it does provide specialization, but not of that higher level as provided by mba or m.tech. -eligibility criteria for it jobs also demand 60%in btech..but still don’t loose hope you can also opt for many jobs such as:- 1-hcl is hiring freshers from engineering and other graduate degrees from computer science stream . Educational qualification: The candidates must have completed their education in the year 2011 with atleast 65% aggregate marks in class 10, 12 & graduation, with following degrees and subjects in order to fall into the eligibility conditions. But there are lots of companies there who allows students with less than 60%. All you have to do is just keep in contact with any of the job consultancy. Also you can apply for other than software company like bank,CSE(Civil Servise Examination)etc .criterion are as below Criterion for bank clerical exams are as below: 1>60% marks in 12th(5% relaxation for SC/ST and OBC) 2>Your age should be between 18-27(5 year relaxation for SC/ST and 3 year relaxation for OBC) To appear in the CSE the below qualifications are needed. 1>You have to be a graduate from any recognized university by Govt. of India. 2>Your age should be between 21-30(5% relaxation for SC/ST and 3% relaxation for OBC) 3>You should be an Indian IAS exam comes under UPSC and the name of the exam is CSE So you have the criterion , you can apply for these also. |

Maximum software company want 60% in through out in career . but some few software company allow 50% above criteria like WIPRO, SYNTE , HONEYWELL ,SASKEN etc. So you are eligible for above company. Also you can go for higher study like MS ,JRF,SRF,MBA,M-TECH and PHD. Because your marks is not good. For above higher studies you must have valid GATE or CAT SCORE. All the best. |
