UPSC conduct exams for many post you have not specified for which post you want to apply for. Different post have different requirement. But Basic Requirement is GRADUATION from recognized university. |

Re: How to apply for Government Job Opportunities being an Engineer? There are various GOVT jobs for graduate/engineers/etc people. All most all the GOVT organization conduct entrance examination for recruitment of candidates. GOVT recruitment process usually have 3 stages which a candidate must clear to get the jobs. GOVT recruit the candidate only if he/she qualify all the 3 stages of the process of recruitment. The 3 stages of govt recruitment process are written examination,interview and basic fitness level. For defense services Govt physical fitness requirement is quite high.and you can apply in DENFENSE SERVICES also as they empoly lot of engineer every year. Generally Entrance Examination cover the topics of English language,Reasoning,Quantitative Aptitude, Computers and the subject of graduation/post graduation. if you clear the entrance examination than you will be called for interview.
