Its good that you are preparing for SSC and as we know that English is the major part of the exam as the paper would be in English, One of the section would be of English and after all the Interview will also be conducted in English (IF APPLICABLE) For all of the above reason and to prepare well for the exam other then SSC its better to grab a tight grip over English as if properly prepared it can rain marks for US. The best way to prepare for the English section is to first of all go with the basics by referring CBSE books. Once you get a good grip over the basics then its better to then buy a book written by Wren and Martin and do read that book thoroughly. It will clear all your doubts and then after you have to study Idioms, Phrases, Synonym, Antonym, One word substitution which can be found in the books published by Kiran and Arihant Publication. Once you are done with all the steps given above then you have to check your performance by solving unsolved paper and see or judge yourself. Hope it will help Cheers...!!! |
