Re: After M.Com can I apply for UGC NET exam? To appear for NET Lectureship/ Junior Research Fellowship,you should have completed post graduation degree with any stream from a recognized university with minimum 55% marks.And for Junior Research Fellowship post,your age should not exceed 28 years. |

UGC NET stands for Union Grant Commission National Eligibility Test.NET exam is conducted by Union Grant Commission every year twice to provide Lectureship and Junior Research Fellowship post for qualified students. To appear for NET Lectureship/Junior Research Fellowship,you should have completed post graduation degree with any stream from a recognized university with minimum 55% marks.And for Junior Research Fellowship post,your age should not exceed 28 years. After fulfilling with this criteria,then you can apply for NET exam. NET exam notification will release in the month of March and September every year and exam will held on June and December month every year respectively.  You are eligible to apply for NET exam after completing your Master degree course in Commerce. NET Stands for National Eligibility Test and this examination is conducted by University Grants Commission twice in a year in the month of June and December. Eligibility Criteria :- The candidate need to completed Master degree with any desire subject from a recognized University or equivalent qualification and the candidate must secure at least 55% aggregate marks in their examination and 50% relaxation is given to the reserved categories. Candidates who are appeared or candidates who are appearing in the final year of Master degree examination and whose results still awaited or candidates whose appearing examinations have been delayed may also eligible to apply for NET examination. Junior Research fellowship :- The candidates age not more than 28 years at the time of appearing for this examination and relaxation also given to the reserved categories. Re: After M.Com can I apply for UGC NET exam? Definitely you can. For UGC NET, you just need a post graduate degree as educational qualification for being eligible. The National Educational Testing Bureau of University Grants Commission (UGC) conducts National Eligibility Test (NET) to determine eligibility for lectureship and for award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) for Indian nationals in order to ensure minimum standards for the entrants in the teaching profession and research. The Test is conducted in Humanities (including languages), Social Sciences, Forensic Science, Environmental Sciences, Computer Science and Applications and Electronic Science. |

UGC NET - UNIVERSITY GRANT COMMISSION NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY TEST conducted by UGC for selection of candidate for Lectureship and award of JRF(Junior Research Fellowship). The candidate who has completed post graduation degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks for a recognised University within the age of 19 years is eligible to apply for UGC NET. There is no upper age limit for those applying for Lectureshp and upper age limited to 28 years for those applying for JRF.
