Re: Can I do M.E. after MCA through correspondence? MCA is equivalent to ME (Computer Science and Engineering) MCA with B.Sc. (Computer Science) background is equivalent to ME (Computer Science and Engineering). B.Sc. Computer Science (3 Yrs) + MCA (3 Yrs) = 6 Years. BE Computer Science (4 Yrs) + ME (2Yrs) = 6 Years. MCA and ME both are equal. Companies are giving equal priority to both MCA and ME. Two Master’s Degrees, MCA and ME, are treated Same for jobs and there is no difference in the competence ratings. Both MCA and ME (Computer Science and Engineering) Professional Degree courses, the contents of theory and practical syllabus are Same. MCA and ME Degree holders are Equal to each other. MCA – Master of Computer Applications. ME – Master of Engineering (Computer Science and Engineering). Thanks and best regards to you all. |

Because in Engg colleges they wont give equal priority...They Prefer the candidates those who are having the ME after BE...So No use of doing ME after MCA.... All de Best in Advance!! Re: Can I do M.E. after MCA through correspondence? hi dear, YES,Its good that you want to go for M.E through correspondence even though you have completed MCA but the minimum eligibility criteria for M.E is that you need to have degree certificate in engineering so therefore i don't think you can go for M.E.The mode of examination doesn't matter whether you go through correspondence or through regular class,all you need is a degree certificate.If you can provide B.E certificate than you can apply for M.E. best of luck........... |
