I have done B.Tech with electronics & instrumentation stream He,if you want clear ONGC,NTPC then you can clear GATE exam,because through GATE score card you have opportunities to get job directly by interview in all maharatan companies(ONGC ,NTPC,BHEL, etc) and if you want to go with M.Tech then you can go for that exam also.Best of Luck |

I have done B.Tech with electronics & instrumentation stream The Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited is one amongst the most well known companies in Asia. The firm recruits many candidates every year into various departments of the company. To get selected into the firm, candidates need to pass a selection procedure. Those who pass all 4 tests will get employed into the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited. ONGC Placement Test The ONGC written test is carried out online. This test has 2 sections. They are: General Knowledge section Technical knowledge section The paper will consist of 60-75 Technical questions in addition to 50 questions on General knowledge. These MCQ’s will not have negative marking. ONGC Placement Interview The round after the written part of the placement procedure is the Technical Interview. Here students will be asked questions on any of the subjects they have studied so far. Questions related to the projects done by candidates will also be asked. The final step in the process after this is the HR round. Candidates will be asked questions about their reasons to choose ONGC, their hobbies, academic backgrounds etc. ONGC Placement Test Preparation Tips The written test will include questions of the general nature. In fact, this can be considered to be the easiest part in the placement procedure. Many guide books will be available in leading book stores and students can use this for their reference. The reference book by R.S.AGARWAL is such an example. ONGC Placement Interview Preparation Tips If the candidate has succeeded to pass all the above method, the final step of the placement procedure is the interview. It is needed by all aspirants to prepare for this part of the placement procedure in advance. Technical questions as well as questions relating to the projects done by the candidates will be asked in this round. When answering the panel, candidates should never attempt to be over smart. It is imperative that they be humble and honest. Sometimes the aspirants will be given an opportunity to as something about the firm. They must make use of this opportunity to show their interest towards the company. The final round of the placement procedure is the HR round. Candidates ought to be prepared in self introduction, their future career plans etc when they appear for this round. One thing all students must keep in mind is to be straightforward. How to prepare for public sector exams like ONGC, NTPC etc? I have done B.Tech with electronics & instrumentation stream sir,i am on verge of completing my b.tech(electronics & instrumentation) but i am far away from any job.I want myself working in any core sector.ONGC exam is just a month away but i am in a dilema how to prepare myself best for the exam.please advice as it will be very helpful for me for others competitive exams as well. looking forward to your reply on my mail [email protected] |
