State Bank of Indian and IBPS(Institute of Banking Personal selection) generally conduct exam for Bank P.O. time to time as per their requirement. To be eligible for bank P.O., one must be an Indian Citizen having completed Graduation degree in any stream of education within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for SC/ST candidate with good command over computer. Eligibility criteria to give IBPS BAnk PO exam - Graduation from a recognised university. Age - 20- 30 years. So if you fulfill second criteria also you can apply for bank PO exam. You can also apply for Specialist Officer exam. |

Read current affairs and general studies which will be a deciding factor in clearing the exam. It has 5 sections and you have to clear the cut off marks in each section. The candidate should be a graduate form any background. Should have minimum 60% in 12th and graduation. There is a age limit. Age limit: 21 to 30 Age relaxation as per government norms You can easily appear for this exam if the above mentioned criteria is satisfied. Believe you can and you will on the half way. Hi dear, Earlier SBI had set the percentage criteria of 60% or 55% in graduation for the Probationary Officers exams.But in the latest vacancies there is no percentage criteria and the eligibilty is just a graduation in any discipline. Most of the other banks set the minimum percentage criteria either 55%(in Graduation) or just a bachelor's degree. The age limit for the Po exams are generally 21 to 30 years but some of the private banks like ICICI set the upper age limit as 25 years.There is Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates. Please note that the eligibilty conditions do differ from one bank to another,so please keep youself updated with the advertisement against the particular vacancies. Thanks |

Dear Friend, Sorry to say that you are not eligible for the Bank PO Exam because of the following reasons : * You must have completed your graduation with a minimum of 55% marks from any recognized college/university. * Your age should lie in between 18-28 years. * There is also a relaxation in upper age of 3 years for OBC Candidates and of 5 Years for SC/ST candidates. So , i just want to tell you that if you have not secured 55% marks or more in graduation , then you are not eligible for bank PO Exam no matter you have got 77% marks or more in MBA. This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. hope the information will help you to the extent you want. |

Re: Am I eligible for Bank PO exams if I have scored 77% in MBA? you are eligible for some PO examinations Most banks put the criteria at a minimum of 60% in graduation However some smaller banks like Adhra bank, syndicate bank,`Union bank etc. demand only 55% in graduation,.. hence you are applicable in these examinations. further if you belong to some category you will get some relaxation in criteria hence you will become applicable in all the exams, Max age limit is 30 yrs ( 25 in some ) |

Required qualification for Bank exam is Graduation from any recognised university.SBI has just removed the required percentage marks. Age limit for Bank PO exam- Age limit is 21-30 but there is age relaxation for SC/ST and OBC student. If you fullfill these criteria then you are eligible for Bank PO exam. Other Bank require 50% to 60% marks in graduation.qualification is different for different exam. good luck. |

MOst banks demand a minimum score of 60% throughout till your graduation. However you need not worry as there are several banks which keep minimum criteria at 55 % only. Like canara bank vijaya bank,IOB andhra bank etc. hence you are eligible in these banks. also note that general age limit is a maximum of 30 yrs some useful sites for you BankPO.com BankPo.net etc. |

Candidate must have graduate degree from any stream. Appearing candidate are also eligible. 2. Age limit is 21 to 30 years. 3. In SBI there is no percentage criteria. In other banks it is 55% to 60%. Eligibility criteria are vary from one bank to another. So make yourself up to date from the particular vacancies. The general criteria for PO examination is that the candidate must be a graduate from any recognized university with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. Recently SBI has removed any stipulation of marks. So as you are already a graduate you are apply for the PO examination. Best wishes.... |

Mostly every bank requires atleast 60% marks in graduation but some banks ask only simple graduate degree. So, if you are a graduate then you can apply. It does not matter whether you persuade Master degree or not. |
