Ans- cost of 6 pens and 4 books.=6/24 x744=186 |

Ya but you can buy a book - Quantitative analysis by R.S Aggarwal . Its got lots of questions to practice. You would do very well, if you do practice from this book. |

Re: Shortcut tricks to solve Quantitative Questions? Hi dear, Quantitative aptitude questions are generally asked in bank exams and almost all competitive exams. As you requested for short cut tips, those one can not teach. You have to develop the short cuts and tricks yourself. For this what is required is practice. If you practice a problem for several times, the first time it may take big time to solve the problem and the next time a slight decrease in time you take to solve the problem. So by repeated practice you can get the answer in short span of time because the first time you might have solved the problem in several steps. As you have practice now, you can directly skip to the final step or you may skip some of the steps that you did earlier. So this is short cut which you can develop And anyway there may be some logics in mathematics which will be very helpful for you that you can learn from several books and coaching institutes. Here i am just giving an example. In order to multiply 75 and 75, short cut will be first multiply 5 and 5 and it is 25 and write it as the ending numbers or right side of answer. Then multiply 7 and 7 and add 7, then it is 56 and write the 56 to the left side of 25.so the final answer is 5625 It is your final answers. This is only for the multiplication of two same numbers which ends with 5 Thanks |

Vedic mathematics will certainly help you a lot but apart from that you need to have loads and loads of practice in order to do well...time management is the key...look at the previous year papers and try to solve them in general...look at your strong points in which you can score...after that practice on them till you are sure that you can solve them |

But before you go for shorts make sure that you have a sound knowledge at the conceptual level. Also you need to make sure that you covered all the areas. You can solve each of the areas from these books. They will also provide some tricks in each of the areas. |
