only studying physics and understanding concepts will not help. you must practice as many problems as you can related to thosee concepts.so just understand a concept and try to do as many problems related to that concept.and another important thing is that you must try to co relate those concept with your environment or nature.that will help you to understand the concept more clearly.

Physics is basically a mixture of concepts with numerical based on that concept. So, to score good in physics, make your your basics are clear. i.e there is no doubt for a thing or situation happening. Practice hard for numerical too as they help alot to score complete and good marks. Use physics laws in real life to make it more understandable.

To score more in Physics, you have good subject knowledge. This is the only success manthra to score high marks in Physics Exam.

In many of the concepts in Physics, explanation followed by some derivation or calculation part will be there.

For such kind of concepts, if you have strong idea of theory part obviously you can do calculation part or problematic part easily.

Due to this, you can solve variety of problems very easily. Becasue you have indepth knowledge regarding that topic.

Many of the candidates will prepare hardly for theory without any logical thinking and they can not solve problems due to this.

Practice as many number of problems as you can. For many of the exams, Physics paper appears as Mathematics paper with many of the questions are having problems.

Try to think out of the box by practicing applications of Physics in real life.

Don't restrict yourself to question banks or model papers. Try to follow good text books which are easy to understand.

Attempt the Exam with good side headings and required diagrams with proper explanations.

Re: How to get good marks in Physics entrance exam?

in physics first of all study a concept very soundly. you have to just rememberise or acquire the concept in yourself.then try as many problems as u can related to that topic or particular concept. and after a particular chapter is over.revise the chapter and concepts once again.it will help.and try to revise the previously studied concepts at least weekly. and after all this one basic thing to memorise is either try to relate a particular concept to natural things or to the happenings near by. and try to relate different topics.
