Many colleges admit on the basis of marks secured in 12th standard for admission to B.Com. course. After Graduation in Commerce there is wide scope for job and accordingly you may apply for Civil Service exam to become an IAS/IPS/IRS/IFS etc. You can apply for Bank P.O./Railways/State Govt. job after B.Com. You may go for higher studies after B.Com. such as Chartered Accountancy/Company Secretary etc. You may go for MBA(Master of Business Administration) after B.Com. by appearing through entrance exam such as CAT/MAT/XAT etc. conducted by top business schools. After successfully completing the MBA course you may be absorbed to good Companies with lucrative salary package. |

Re: Can I do B.Com after passing 12th CS? eligiblity of this course 12th passed with 45%. student can do this course even if he has done his 12th among any one of stream. (art, science and commerce). you can do this course from anywhere in india. you can take tution of any of subject if you find that complicated. |

Re: Can I do B.Com after passing 12th CS? dear friend, There are so many option after completing the diploma in Computer Science. Here it is : 1. Higher Studies. 2. Finding for a job. 1. Higher Studies : After completing your diploma I think it will be better for you to go for higher studies like B.Tech. and then M.Tech. or M.B.A. or M.C.A. etc. As you have an interest in software engineering then I think after diploma you must have to take your B.Tech degree and then master degree and you will shine in your life. Besides this, you must have to read the following books : 1. Software Engineering by Rajib Mall 2. Software Engineering by Pressman 3. Software Engineering by Pandey and Sharma. These two books which I have mentioned in the above is very much important for you. If you complete these books then you will get more interest in this field. 2. Finding for Jobs : I think it will not better option for you because you will get a less salary if you join any company after completing your diploma. Re: Can I do B.Com after passing 12th CS? Yes. You are eligible to join B.Com course after completion of 12th class. I suggest you to opt for this course only when you have interest to pursue your Graduation with arts related stream. Becasue, B.Com course consists of number of arts subjects. In many colleges, direct admission will be given for this course on the basis of marks in 12th class. Some colleges will give admission for the candidates who have scored more than 50% of marks in their 12th class. Where as in some other colleges, they don't consider the marks of the candidate in 12th class to give admission for this course. If you want to get Jobs on the basis of your B.Com course, you can not get good job with good salary. So, I suggest you to opt for MBA course at Post Graduation level which is in good demand these days. There are plenty of job opportunities for the candidates who have completed MBA course in vareity of Business sectors. Only thing is that they should be strong enough in communication skills and subject knowledge. So, prepare for any of the populare entrance exam for MBA course like -CAT -MAT -GMAT etc. from the first year of your B.Com course. Decide upon the industry in which you want to start career and the kind of jobs which you are interested to join. Make a list of companies where your interested profile is being available and know the selection procedure and required eligibility criteria to be placed in that company and start preparation for the same accordingly.
