Here is ELIGIBILITY for M.A:

=> A candidate must have completed their Bechelor Degree with atleast 50% from recognise universities.

=> A candidate must have to apply for M.A entrance exam and have to pass it.

Can m.Phil be done with48percent marks at post graduation level?can it be done through distance education?what to do to become lecturer in college.I've teaching experience of 10 years in school.

Yes definitely your eligible for M.A English after completing Bachelor of Arts (B.A) .

M.A in English is an Master Degree . The duration of the course is for two years and the course is divided into four semester . This course having good job prospectus in both the government as well as private sectors . If your interested to become an lecturer then you may apply for NET Examination which is conducted by UGC ( Union Grants Commission )

  • Basic Concepts in Linguistics
  • Literatures in English Drama

Eligibility Criteria for M.A ( English ) :-

The Eligibility Criteria for MA in English is differ from institution to institution .

You should complete bachelor degree in any discipline from recognized university . You should score minimum 50% percentage of marks in bachelor degree . You should have English subject in graduation level .

The selection procedure for this course is based on the Entrance Examination which is conducted by the university and Institution . Every Institution and University may conducts entrance examination based on the final merit list , there may allot admission for MA course .
