Both MBA & M.TECH degree are good it depends upon you what are you interested you to do..... MBA stands for Master In Business Administration. If you are interested to change your carrier from engineering line to other then you can do it. If you want to remain in that then it is good to go for M.tech degree after which you will get good job with good salary... I am providing you a carrier chart from where you can get details information....... from that chart below part you can also look for what exam you can appear after master degree or after b.tech.. After b.tech better to go with M.tech to become a scientist. To become a scientist P.g graduation is also required. Through Gate you can step into either DRDO or ISRO. From there you can have chance to become scientist and also to work in NASA. To become a scientist knowledge is more important. How to become a scientist after B.Tech(EC)? if u want to go in teaching line or reserch line then go for mtech and phd if it requires ,if you want to go for good jobs then after btech work for 2-4 years in any top copmpany and with work-ex go for mba from any top college,for hagher studies selection of college in the relavent field is very important otherwise it can effect your career.so all the best for the future and try to find out your field of interest and do according to this suvodip, system engg btech,electrical engg |

M.tech is the option that you should choose in order to become a scientist.M.tech would be the base and the initial step for you to become a scientist,as it would develop your knowledge in the same field.MBA would never help you to become a scientist. Scientists in India are highly paid (as compared to the person at same age in other jobs [except doctors]) and are supported by different govt. projects. There is lots of politics also. As far as I know, scientists must have the masters degree. you have to complete your M.Tech before trying anything else or you will become a project assistant and not get any permanent post in CSIR labs. After that you may get any scientist post if you are lucky. As you are an ec (if I think right eclectornics and communiction) engineer then you can try for PhD. (JRF/NET exams has to be cleared or you should have some good source of a scientist for getting PhD. without qulifying NET exams) in fields like physics ( The most difficult field and if one get a PhD. in this one is the most respectable person in the research field. These persons are also highly paid abroad). |

If you are interested to go for the management degree then go for the MBA. Management degree are the most focusing field these days. So if you are interested to MBA then you can go for the details. Otherwise, if you are interested in research field then go for M.Tech. For M.Tech you have to appear for the GATE exams. M.tech degrees provides you the specialization in your field. So select the best option for your career which gives you the bright future. Good luck!!! |

You need to select the course based on your interest and also job profile you would like doing. If your a person who is more research oriented then M.Tech is the option you should use. You can also go in for teaching profession after MTech. But if you are interested in working the industry then MBA is the option you could avail. With MBA who can go in for options like marketing, finance, HR, operation management etc. In order to pursue MTech you need to appear for the entrance exam like GATE. IIT's are known to offer one of the best training in the country for MTech. In case you plan to pursue MBA then there are various entrance exams like CAT, XAT, MAT which you need to appear for. IIM's top the list of the ranking for MBA training. Xavier's Institute, Amrita Business School, Goa Institute are some other institutes offering MBA courses. To become a scientist it is important that you have a passion for research. Also it is a must that you be sound at the conceptual level. Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) and Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS) were set up with the purpose of training the candidates to become future scientists and specialists in the field. IIRS offers courses like MSc, M.Tech and PH.d. IIST offers courses in graduation, post graduation and also PH.d course. On completion of the 12th standard you can choose between Aerospace, Avionics and Physical Science. You will need to appear for the ISAT entrance exam which is held in April. The test will have questions from Physics, Chemistry and also Mathematics. They will be objective in nature. You need to be well prepared to clear these exams. You must solve the previous year papers too. |

Because scientist is always after Ph.d,that,s why you must go for M.TECH........... you must prepared for next year GATE exam and give GATE exam and good rank and take admission for M.TECH and Ph.d........... |
