FRIEND,

JMET stands for Joint Management Entrance Test and this test is conducted for the admissions of the candidates to select for the MBA course.

Admission to the Post Graduate Management Degree Programmes (MBA/M.Mgmt) for 2012 - 2014 in six IITs (Bombay, Delhi, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Roorkee) and IISc (Bengaluru) will be based on CAT 2011 score in place of JMET score.

Further details regarding eligible educational qualifications and other criteria will be available in the websites of the respective Department / School of Management Studies.

Eligibility criteria for the exam::

You must have an engineering degree or a master's degree in science and have secured at least 60% aggregate marks.

If you are in their final year then also you apply for the exam.

Duration of the exam :- 3 Hours

Exam pattern :- There will be 120 Objective questions.

There will b negative marking for each wrong answer, 0.25 marks is deducted for each wrong response.

The paper will consist of 120 Objective type questions.

Time allotted for completing the paper will be 3 hours.

The paper will be divided into 4 sections -

-Verbal Communication
-Logical Reasoning
-Quantitative Aptitude
-Data Interpretation


Each section will have 30 questions

The date of exam has not been announced yet so keep checking the official website

I have attached two question papers of previous years.

In addition there is a analysis of jmet 2011

It will give an idea about each sections marks distribution and questions pattern.

Previous Year Question Papers For IIT JMET


JMET (Joint Management Entrance Test) is conducted every year for admissions to MBA courses in IIT..

Exam pattern of JMET exam and previous year papers of JMET
It will be of two hour duration and will consist of questions from verbal and logical reasoning, quantitative ability and data interpretation. The exam is similar to that of CAT. The previous year questions are available online and also books with solved question papers are available in book stores for student’s references.
The exam pattern of JMET is similar to that of the CAT which contains the quantitative aptitude, data interpretation and logical reasoning. It is the common pattern for most of the management entrance test.
JMET solved papers and the last 5 years questions papers can be downloaded from Internet. It helps a lot for getting good scores in the JMET entrance test.

The exam pattern of JMET paper does not differ, there may be few change in the part 3 but the schedule and the pattern remains the same. JMET solved papers and the last 5 years questions papers can be downloaded from Internet. It helps a lot for getting good scores in the JMET entrance test.

The previous year question papers are available in the online which can be downloaded for the preparation of the JMET papers. The exam pattern of JMET is similar to that of the CAT which contains the quantitative aptitude, data interpretation and logical reasoning. It is the common pattern for most of the management entrance test.
