Re: Requirements for girls in Merchant Navy? Only a few companies take girls in merchant navy.. Companies like gesco for oils n all accept girls bt only on the deck side. On the engine side there r heavy task like pulling n lifting heavy things. Therefore girls not allowed in merchant navy on engine side aftr 12 n graduation u can give a companys entrance exam n further they vil xplain u the procedures. Thanku |

Re: Requirements for girls in Merchant Navy? hie ........ soo far i had given my exams of 12 and along with that i am pursuing frankfinn diploma from frankfinn institute of airhostess traning center chandigarh and almost it is completed and now i would like to join merchant navy......... soo i want to know the whole procesure that how i"ll gave the interviews in merchant navy field.......... |

Re: Requirements for girls in Merchant Navy? hi dear...there is one course after 12th...the course will b sumthing around 4lakhs...after that u will hav 18mnths training in ship for which the stipend will b indian rupee 20000/- or 25000/- then again after completing that u will have to do 1 mre course n then u are finally placed after which the salary starts frm 1.5lakhs onwards... |
