NET English (Paper III) Exam - Download Previous Year's Question Papers NET English Paper III is a subjective paper like all other Paper III of other subjects. Here you got to answer questions of 200 marks which have been divided into 4 groups. The first section requires 2 essay type questions to be written in 500 words. Ample choices are there for both of these 20 marks questions. For section II candidates have to chose one specialization like History of English Language and English Language Teaching, European Literature from the Classical Age to the 20th Century, Indian Writing in English and Indian Literature in English Translation, American and other Non-British English Literatures and Literary Theory and Criticism and answer all 3 questions from it. Here each question will fetch maximum 15 marks and should be completed in about 300 words. Third section doesn’t require much effort as you need to write 9 short answers of 50 words each; weightage for each being 10 marks. In last section you need to go through a passage to answer the 5 questions related to that passage. Word count should be 30 here and marks you get are 5 per answer. Below are attached some of the previous year’s question papers. |
