Re: How to improve my General Knowledge for Competitive Exams? Having enough General Knowledge is very important for the candidates in order to get through competitive exams. The more General knowledge that a candidate have, the more easy it is for the candidates to score more marks. Its not a single night or single day process of improving General Knowledge. You have to work on it continuously. You have to update your knowledge continuously which is very essential in terms of General knowledge for the candidates. Here are some of the ways through which you can improve your General knowledge. you can read daily news papers and can collect the information regarding various aspects. You can collect the information from various magazines and by watching news channels. Whatever the information that you have collected, share it with your friends and discuss with them so that you will never forget that information and in addition you can get some more new points due to these conversations. You did not mention the specific entrance exam for which you are preparing for. If you have provided that one, I would have provided you in depth guidance in related to this. You can check with previous year papers of the competitive exams and find the areas from which majority of the questions are being asked. Try to put more concentration towards those areas and get good score in the competitive exams. Wish you all the best. |

Re: How to improve my General Knowledge for Competitive Exams? to improve your general knowledge only book study is not sufficient. if you want to improve your general knowledge for competitive examination then first of all you must be conscious about what is happening in every field like film, sports, politics etc. for this you have to watch news regularly, you have to read newspaper, study magazine. you have to go for different types of magazine and also you have to watch different types of news. beside this you have to study general knowledge book also. in market there are so many books to improve your general knowledge. you should study. also you have to surf internet. Internet is a sea of information. so to get details about any information you must have to surf on internet. also you have to meet with different type of person working in different filed. try to know from them about the situation where they work and also their opinion about any topic. in these several way you will be able to improve your general knowledge. for all of this you must be conscious about everything. best wishes. |

Almost all competitive examinations giving importance to the general knowledge of the candidates and to test the general knowledge level of the candidates. To be good strong enough in General knowledge, one should be good enough in the following aspects mostly. -National affairs -International affairs -Bilateral affairs -Sports -Awards -Persons in news -Books and authors To be good enough in these areas, -Go though news papers regularly -Watch news channels on a regular basis -Collect the important notes from the above two activities -Discuss regularly about those aspects with your friends, relatives and known persons -This will let you to get more content which you are not aware of -Try to update the aspects from time to time. -Several magazines will also a good source. - Even in online you can practice some quiz on general knowledge. -Several websites maintain good content of current affairs. Students need to be very religious in reading newspapers and must take the time to hear news, preferably English news. This will help them to grab daily updates and information without mush effort. Try to note down important events in a note book for future reference. There are lots of GK book available in the market which students can purchase and study. |
