Re: Can I apply for UPSEE for B.Tech course if I am from Bihar and my parents are domicile of Bihar? What should I fill in the category section of OMR application form? u r not eligible to apply upsee if not passed from up 20% seats of all engineering colleges are reserved for all India students which are filled on the basis of merit in AIEEE. Half of this 20% seats are reserved for U.P. domicile students and rest half for outside U.P. students. So, you can get admission in some private college of U.P. on the basis of AIEEE rank but you can't apply for UPSEE. There are few state engineering entrance exams (like Orissa JEE) which allow outside state students but outside students are eligible for private institutions only. Best of luck |

Re: Can I apply for UPSEE for B.Tech course if I am from Bihar and my parents are domicile of Bihar? What should I fill in the category section of OMR application form? If you have not passed 12th from a school located in U.P. and you are not even domicile of U.P. then you can't apply for UPSEE. 20% seats of all engineering colleges are reserved for all India students which are filled on the basis of merit in AIEEE. Half of this 20% seats are reserved for U.P. domicile students and rest half for outside U.P. students.
