FRIEND,  ->NDA stands for NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY and it is situated in the hills of khadakwasla, pune in State maharashtra. ->This Academy is considered as one of the most toughest academies in the World for Military training. ->The Duration of the course in the NDA is three years and after this you will be shifted to your respective defence academies like AFA,NA,IMA. ->You can join NDA only after 12th exams and can appear in the exams of NDA while pursuing 12th. ->There is some eligibility criteria for NDA and that is: 1)NATIONALITY:You must be an Indian OR a National of (i) a citizen of India, or (ii) a subject of Bhutan, or (iii) a subject of Nepal, or (iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or (v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, the East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently setting in India). 2)You must have completed your 12th class or appearing for the 12th board exams from any recognized board. 3)Your age must be between 16.5 years to 19 years. 4)You must be physically fit. 5)You must be an Unmarried male candidate. NDA is a premier training Institution of Defence which trained young Indian male to be an efficient officer in Indian Army/Navy/Air Force. To join Defence forces one has to appear and crack the NDA entrance exam conducted by UPSC twice every year. Eligibility Criteria to apply for NDA:- -The candidate must be an unmarried Indian male. -Should have either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board. -Should be within the age of 16.5 to 19 years. -Having a good Physical Fitness. The candidate having Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 12th is eligible to apply for Indian Navy/Air Force wing of NDA. Your brother want to join Indian Navy. Indian Navy is very good option now days. For this he have to pass 11th and 12th with Physics and maths stream (Non-medical) from recognized University or board. After passing 12th he have to qualify the N.D.A exam. N.D.A is national Defence Academy N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year. For N.D.A the age limit should be in between 16.5-19 year.
