Re: How much marks are required in IIT for SC? it is very difficult to tell u that how many marks u need to qualify iit...........................its depend on cutoff of iitjee which is varry every year........ generaly cutoff marks for gen students varry between 30 to 4o %.... and the sc candidates needs approx half (1/2) of gen cutoff mark........... it has been seen that gen cat. cutoff marks varrys from 190 to 240 |

If you want to join the Indian Institute of Technology, you will have to qualify joint entrance examination,also known as IIT-JEE. If you have passed +2 level of exam, you are eligible to write the exam irrespective of the marks you secured in the +2 level of exam.
