Yes, you can join Indian Air Force of NDA after completion of 12th at the age of 18 provided you have the required qualification as follows:- NDA stands for NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY, the entrance exam of which is conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wings of NDA. The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Central/State Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years of age with good physical fitness. As you are interested for Indian Air Force of NDA, so you should have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 12th as without the above subjects one is not eligible to apply for Indian Air Force/Navy of NDA. The selection is through written exam followed by Personal Interview along with Physical Fitness and Medical Test. For further information you may log on to www.upsc.gov.in |

If you are interested in Air force then apply for N.D.A examination :- To appear for this examination,the candidate must be completed 12th examination from a recognized Board or equivalent qualification. N.D.A stands for National Defence Academy examination is conducted two times in a yer by Union Public Service Commission. This defence service is one of the popular examination in Union Public Service Commission. Eligibility Criteria for this examination :- The candidate must be citizen of India and the candidate who are completed or appearing in the 12th examination can also apply for this examination.Candidates who are appearing in the 12th examination can also apply for this examination.Age should between 16 half - 19 years and unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for this examination.The candidate must be completed 12th examination with physics and mathematics at 12th level as their subjects and there is no minimum marks required for this examination. Syllabus of this examination :- Mathematics - 300 marks. General ability - 600 marks. Each paper consist of 2 1/2 hrs. To become a Pilot,the candidate need to passed graduate degree or engineering from a recognized University or equivalent qualification. Eligibility Criteria for this examination :- The candidate must be citizen of India. The candidate age limits for this examination is 19 years to 23 years at the time appearing. The candidate must have completed graduate(three year course) in any discipline from a recognized University OR the candidate must be completed B.E/B.Tech (four year course) from a recognized University or equivalent qualification. The candidate must score at least 60% aggregate marks in their examination. The candidate must be completed 12th examination with physics and mathematics. No arrears at the time of appearing for this examination. So,according to the eligibility criteria,you are eligible to appear for N.D.A examination.If you are interested in Pilot you need to complete your graduate degree. Thanks.. |

Applications are invited in the month of jan/feb from eligible male and female(both unmarried) Indian citizens for SSC course for helicopter pilots in flying branch for the courses commercing in jan/july. Age limit for IAF pilots: 19 to 23 years on the 1st of the month of commencement of the course. Minimum Educational qualification: BSc {physics/maths} 3 years or BE 4 years or BSc (genral) 3 years with physics and Maths. The candidate Should not have failed INS-B/PAB test earlier. Should not have been suspend in flying Training earlier. physical Standards for IAF Pilots: Height-162.5cm leg lenght- not less than 99cms and not more than 128cms. chest: fully expanded chest should not be lees than 82 cms with 5 cms expansion. |

The candidate age should be between 16.5 years and 19 years and Unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for NDA examination.There is no relaxation given to the reserved categories.
