COST is is around 18-20 years. alll the best......

AGE LIMIT- no age limit DURATION- Well the whole procedure on an average takes about 1.5 to 2 years. COST- Average cost is around 18 to 20 lakhs. |

C-science,commers,health. s-english litreture. now i am doing my a/l. i'll face it in 2013.my a/l subjects are logic & scientific method, sinhala, buddhist civilization.i am sinhla. i can speak english and tamil very well. now i am following an english course,in upper intermidiate 3 in british council in week days.i comleted my tamil course in last year. i have good knowladge in graphic desingning.i comleted it for diploma level.so,can i become pilot with those qualification. |

Re: Can I become Pilot with my GCE ordinary level qualifications? I am from Bangladesh. I have just graduated. My background was commerce in SSC and HSC. I know, if I do not have Physics and Math then I can%u2019t be get training for CPL in Bangladesh. But it is possible to get trained in CPL from Canada or USA. But, I want to sit for physics and math%u2019s of O'levels. My question is if I do the physic and math%u2019s of O'levels and have 50% up marks, then can I join in any airline company in India or Bangladesh? Anyway, I really need the info, because I am desperate to become a commercial pilot, so, After finished my CPL, if needed, then I am ready to do Simulators , rating, etc. Anyone please give me the info what should I do? If I have simulators and ratting, then it%u2019s possible? I have gone through the books of physics and math%u2019s of O'levels and A %u2018levels too. And I think, it is possible to get knowledge about physics and math at any stage of life. So, there should be at least single option for commerce student to become Pilot. So, my question is why this profession is restricted so badly? As per I know, there are some courses in PPL and CPL where students can get knowledge about science. |

Hello friend, The eligibility to pursue a career as a pilot is to pass the H.S i.e. 10(+2) with science having mathematics and physics as compulsory subjects. A pilot needs to know the basics of science such as - conversion of different units, basic mathematics and trigonometry to calculate height & distance, speed of sound & light, differential pressure, torque & retardation etc. No age limitations are there.
