Re: Am I eligible for NDA 2nd exam at an age of 18? Yes offcourse, you can apply for NDA at an age of 18 years according to the age criteria required for NDA. The eligiblity criteria for NDA is : 1. You must be a citizen of India. 2. You must be a male candidate. 3. You must be an unmarried. 4. You must have passed the 12th class examination or any equivalent examination from a recognized board or university. 5. The age criteria is 16.5 years to 19 years. Hey according to the NDA physical standards a candidate should not be colour blind or have night blindness secondly Eyesight 6/24 correctable to 6/6 of each eye wearing spectacles for Tech branch and submarine cadre 6/60 correctable to 6/6 wearing spectacles 6/12 with spectacles 4 Naval architecture cadre. |

Re: Am I eligible for NDA 2nd exam at an age of 18? Hey, NDA stand for National Defence Service Exam. This exam is conduct by Union Public Service Commission twice a year. The Eligible candidates apply through online and offline application mode. NDA Examination is conducted in 3 wings: • Indian Army • Indian Navy • Indian Air Force ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR NDA II Nationality : A candidate must either be : A citizen of India, or A subject of Bhutan, or A subject of Nepal, or A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India. Educational Qualifications For Army wing of National Defence Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University. For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 ( Executive Branch ) Course at the Naval Academy : 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University. Age Limits, Gender and Marital Status Age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible PHYSICAL STANDARDS: Candidate should be mentally and physically fit. Candidate's height should be above 157.5 cms with correlated weight. Candidate's eye sight should be 6/6 or 6/9 with no colour blindness and no myopia. Re: Am I eligible for NDA 2nd exam at an age of 18? Yes, you are eligible to apply for NDA second examination as the required age limit is between 16.5 years to 19 years.  National Defence Academy (NDA) examination is conducted by the UPSC government twice in a year that is : NDA I and NDA II. The Union Public Service Commission will hold the Examination on 19th of August, 2012. Thedate of notification is on 5th of May, 2012 and the last date to submit the reciept form is 4th of June, 2012 for admission to the Army, Navy and the Air Force wing. Eligibility Criterion for NDA examination : (i) You must be the citizen of India (ii) You should be an unmarried male candidate (iii) Your age limit should be in between 16 & 1/2 years to 19 years. The date of birth accepted by the commissionis that entered in the secondary school certifacate or matriculation certificate. (iv) You should have qualified in the 12th class or equivalent examination. How to apply : You are required to apply online as the candidates are encouraged to apply online using the website www.upsconline.nic.in. Of course, friend, you are totally eligible on the basis on the age criteria required for appearing in the NDA [NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY], examination, conducted by the UPSC [UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION]. The age limit required for apply in this examination is 16.5-19 years.. Remark the fact that, there is not any kind of age limit reservation applicable for the SC\ST candidates . Through this examination, one can apply in all the combatant branches of the Indian army. .ie in AIR FORCE , NAVAL BRANCH MILITARY BRANCH.. For appear in this examination, you must have a 12th degree from a recognized board. for apply in naval & air force branch, you must have subjects Physics & Maths with at least 60% in12th . NDA exam counduct by UPSC twice in year for three wings --- Airforce,Army,Navy & Navel Academy. Candidate must have passed 12th class with around 55% aggregate from a recognized university or college. The candidate should with Physics, mathematics, and Chemistry.final year students in 12th class are also eligible to apply NDA. Only unmarried male candidate whose age should be between 16.5 years to 19 years are eligible. Exam pattern- There are two paper in this exam.first paper is math. It's 300 marks and question will be 120, every question is 2.5 marks.second paper is General ability which is 600 marks.there are two section divide in General ability 1.english(200 marks) and general knowledge(400 marks). Notification will be release -- 05/05/2012 Last date to fill form -- 04/06/2012 Exam will be held -- 19/08/2012 |
