Hai, To apply Indian navy exam you have to appear NDA exam which is conducted by the UPSC twice in a year. Eligibility criteria: 10 +2 from a recognised state board of india. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible. Candidate should be a citizen of india. Age should be 16.5years to 19years. For further details you can visit www.upsc.gov.in All the best. |

The Basic Requirements to appear for the NDA exam are :: You should be a minimum 12th pass from a recognized school or board or education. You should have secured atleast 50% aggregate in the qualifying exam. Your age should be within 16.5 to 19 years and you should be physically fit. No relaxation is provided by the UPSC for this criteria. Also you must have studied Mathematics as a compulsory subject if you wish to apply for the Indian Navy or Air Force. So if you want to join the Indian Navy, apply for the NDA. The Important Dates for the NDA 2012 are as follows :: 1. The notification was released in October 2011. 2. The last Date to apply online is 30-01-2012 3. The exam is scheduled to be held on 15th April 2012 which is a Sunday. The required documents that you need to produce at the time of your admission if you crack the NDA exam are : Your ID Proof, Your Class 10th pass certificate, Class 12th pass certificate, and some passport size photographs. |

NDA stands for the National Defense Academy and its an all India exam which is conducted by the UPSC every year to select eligible and capable candidates for the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force. Age : The interested candidates must be at least 16 yrs old & should not be more than 19 yrs i.e they should be born between 2nd Jan 1991 to 1st July 1993. 2. Educational Qualification : The applicant must have passed the 10+2 exam or equivalent from a recognized board with at least 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) & 50% marks in English in either Xth or XIIth std. 3. Physical Standards : a. Height : The candidate must have minimum height of 157 cms. b. Eye Sight : The applicant must not be color or night blind. He can have vision of 6/12 correctable by glasses. However, there is no relaxation in Physical Standards. as you have complete your 12th and if you are fufill the all above conditionyou are eligible for applyiny in this entrance examination. Required Documents to apply for Indian Navy? dear friend, After completion of 12th one can join in Indian NAVY through defense exam like- NDA.. Which is conducted by UPSC twice in every year. Eligibility for NDA exam:- For Indian NAVY wing:- 1.Candidate must have complete the 12th in science stream, with subjects like- Physics, chemistry and maths. 2.Candidates age should be in between 16.5-19 years. 3.Candidate must be a citizen of India. 4.Candidate must be physically fit. These are the eligibility criteria you need to fulfill. So, go for it.. All the best. |

Generally examination is held twice a year in the months of June and December. Eligibility Criteria :- Nationality :- Indian. Marital Status :- Unmarried. Educational Qualifications :- You have to pass 12th or equivalent with Science and Mathematics with 60% or above marks in aggregate. Age Limits :- 15 to 18 years. Physical Standards:- Minimum height: 157 cm Minimum eye standard: Without glasses better eye 6/6 and worse 6/9 Color perception: CP II Application Procedure: You have to complete the application form as per format given in the Employment News on a plain paper either handwritten or typed if you are fulfilled with the eligibility criteria. Exam Procedure :- If you are eligible then you will be called for the written examination which includes :- (i)Science (ii)Mathematics (iiiGeneral Knowledge (iv)English The question paper will be of objective-type of 75 minutes duration.
