You should be between 21 - 25 years of age . The age range of reserved categories are allowed to remain in place. Candidates as part of the recruitment process is to participate in the physical efficiency test. Candidate to participate in order that height, weight, chest, etc. in terms of the need to possess some standard criteria Only if they are qualified in the physical test, the next level which may include personal interviews.goodluck |

Hi dear, Well as you have not specifically told about any particular state Sub inspector exam so i giving you information about the exam which is conducted by the SSC.The examination conducted by the SSC is done in national level and any interested candidates can apply for the exam . This examination is known as SSC CPO SI exam. This examination is done for selecting interested candidates for sub inspector post in central police organization. Eligibility for the SI:: You must have passed bachelor degree in any streams from a reputed college. You should be between 21 - 25 years of age . Recruitment process::The recruitment process to get selected in SSC SI exam is very hard .The candidates have to go through the three stages which are :: 1. Written exam. 2. Physical test and 3. Personal interview. Written exam:The written exam consist of 2 papers each of 2 hours. Paper I ::It is of objective types and consist of following subjects . Reasoning ability: 50 marks General Awareness: 50 marks Maths: 50 marks English language: 50 marks Paper II :Its of descriptive type papers and consists of : English Language and Comprehension (200 marks) Physical Requirement: Male Candidates- Height 170 cm, Chest 80 cm with 5cm expansion. Re: Required Qualification to attend SI Exam? Dear pal, the eligibility required for SI includes 1. The minimum age for applying is 20. The maximum age for applying is 25 and it is relaxable as per the norms below. For sc and st aspirants the age is relaxed by 5 years. 3 years for bc, mbc aspirant. 7 years for obc exservicemen and 8 years for sc and st exservicemen. 2. Degree from a recognised university. The aspirant applying for the job must satisfy physical standards which include height and chest . Male general category height- 170cm chest- 80 cm expansion- 5 cm female height- 157cm. The written exam for the exam includes two papers namely paper 1 general intelligence numerical aptitude reasoning english comprehension paper 2 english comprehension the marks allot for both the paper is 200. The aspirant need to secure pass percentage to clear the exam. |
