PCS stands for Punjab Civil Service.

Eligibility Criteria for PCS Exam :-

1] Educational Qualification :-

>> The candidate must be completed his/ her graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.


2] Physical Requirements :-

>> The candidate must be physically as well as mentally fit.

>> Minimum height of Male:- 5'.7"

>> Minimum height of Female :- 5'.3"

3] Age Limit for PCS Exam :-

>> The age limit of aspirants must be between 21 to 35 years.

>> There is also a relaxation of 5 years provided to SC/ ST/ OBC category candidate as per government rule.

Required Age Limit for PCSJ Exam

* You should be the citizen of India.
* The age limit for must be within 21 to 35 years for general category.
* For SC/ST relaxation for 5 years.
* For OBC relaxation for 3 years.
* You should get graduation from a recognized university.
* Final year candidates are also eligible for this exam.
* You should be physically fit.


Number of Attempts:

For General category - 4 attempts.

For SC/ST category - No limits.

For OBC candidates - 7 attempts.

PCS - Public Service Commission

this exam are held almost every year in all the states
the exam pattern is primarily same as of UPSC civil services exam

Eligibility : graduation with min of 50% marks from a recognized university
Age : 21 to 35 years
Exam consists by two types
prelims , main exam
interview

In order to be eligible for the Punjab Civil Service, the age limit is as follows:
  • Minimum eligible age- 21 years
  • Maximum age limit-35 years
  • For candidates belonging to Schedule Castes and Backward Castes, the maximum age limit would be 40 years.

Academic Qualification for Punjab Civil Service:
  • You must hold a bachelors degree of a recognized university
  • Must have studied Punjabi as one of the major subjects in the secondary level.
