Re: How can I get information regarding GATE and GRE exams? Hi, GRE’ stands for Graduate Record Examination. It is a test administered by ETS (Educational Testing Services), the same company that administers the SATs. The exam is used to assess students’ aptitude for graduate programs in the sciences, social sciences and humanities, and is required for admission to many graduate programs. In the U.S., the test is generally administered using Computer-Adaptive Testing (CAT), as opposed to a paper-and-pencil test. There are many features of CAT that are different from paper-and-pencil testing, but the test is calibrated so that test-takers should receive approximately the same score using CAT as they would taking the paper-and-pencil test. The GRE is composed of three sections: Analytical Writing (AW), Verbal, and Quantitative (math).for further details check: http://www.onestopgre.com. The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an All-India Examination conducted by the Seven IITs and IISC, Bangalore, on behalf of the Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD), Government of India. The objectives of GATE is to identify meritorious and motivated candidates for admission to Postgraduate Programs Engineering at the National level. How can I get information regarding GATE and GRE exams? hi, i was wondering if someone could please tell me where to get all proper details for GATE and MAT - the official site, how to registr etc. I would also be grateful for any suggestions for a good coaching centre in kerala, thrissur. Also does any1 know the official site for GRE in india? Any help will be geatly appreciated. Thx |
