Genetic engineers are mainly absorbed in medical and pharmaceutical industries, the agricultural sector, and the research and development departments of the government and private sectors. They can also take up teaching as an option. |

Re: What will be the career scope for Genetic Engineering? hi dear let me tell u that genetic engineering is the branch of engineering in which we study about the DNA ,geans etc. in india there is a least scope of genetic engineering there r very few colleges or universities offering the course of genetic egineering the pay scale is very low for the genetic engineers as compared to the other engineers but the genetic engg. is mos advanced in foreign countries if u want to do further study in genetic engineering or wanyt to do job then abroad is the besyt choise for u there r the exams like GRE,TOEFL by which you can gov for the higher studies in abroad so thank u and all the best |

Genetic engineering usually utilize bacterial cells and their plasmids, which are small circular DNA molecule. They can replicate feely within bacterial cells. Genetic engineering can produce cells that contain a foreign gene. These results ar capable of producing new and different Protein. As a result of growth of these cells so many identical copies of plasmid with a foreign gene are produced. Genetic engineering bacteria can be used in the environment, for serving in the field of agriculture etc. These bacteria can also be used to promote health of plants to make them resistant towards insects as bioremediation (pollution cleaner) to synthesize organic chemicals to dect metals, to enhance genetic research to produce pharmaceutical products. In agriculture these bacteria can be used to promote the health of plant in different ways. all the best |

Genetic Engineering involves the studies regarding DNA sequences in genes of various organisms. The scientists or people who are doing some research in Genetic Engineering will carry out various experiments by changing the DNA sequences. We see some of the people who are suffering from genetical disorders. Genetical disorders in the sense, the disorders which the present generation is having will be transmitted to future generations. If a father is having bold head, there is every chance that the son will also be having bold head. So, research studies on Genetic Engineering will provide the ways to eradicate these genetical disorders. This course is having good demand in Abroad when compared to India.
