MAT stands for the Management Aptitude Test and conducted by All India Management Testing Service for entering into MBA or equivalent post graduate programmes.

MAT Exam Details :-
Total Questions: 200
Time: 150 minutes

Total 200 questions are devided into five sections like :-

Reading Comprehension (40 Marks)
Data Interpretation/Data sufficiency (40 Marks)
Quantitative Aptitude (40 Marks)
Logical and Critical reasoning (40 Marks)
General Awareness (40 Marks)


Syllabus Includes five papers like:-

1) Language Comprehension
2) Mathematical Skills
3) Data Analysis
4) Intelligence & Critical Reasoning
5) Indian & Global Environment Section

Dear Aspirant,


First of all would like to know you that MAT (Management Aptitude Test) is organized twice in a year dec and feb.

So , you can appear in both of them but there are lots of options through Dec MAT.

Exam Pattern
  • Aptitude Test
  • Reasoning Test
  • Data Interpretation
  • English Knowledge
  • General Knowledge

2) Offline :- You can obtain form against cash payment of Rs 1200/- from Bank of Baroda branches.

The minimum qualification for appearing in MAT 2012 is graduation in any discipline from any recognized University .

Final year student in any undergraduate (i.e. B.A, B.Sc., B.Com., B.Tech., etc.)can also apply.

There is a minimum percentage requirement in graduation which is different for different management institutes and universities.

EXAM DATE DETAILS:-

Last Date of sale of Application Form - 14 April 2012 (Saturday)

Last Date of submitting Application Form17 April 2012 (Tuesday)

Last Date of Online Registration 14 April 2012 (Saturday)

Last Date of submitting Application Form (online & offline) at AIMA - 17 April 2012 (Tuesday)

MAT EXAM PATTERN:-


MAT has 5 Sections:
  1. Quantitative Ability
  2. Reading Comprehension
  3. Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency
  4. Logical Reasoning
  5. General Knowledge
NOTE:-

  • Total number of questions: 200; 40 in each section
  • Duration of the MAT: 150 minutes.
  • Marking: 1 mark for each correct answer and 0.25 negative marking on wrong answers.
BEST MBA COLLEGE THROUGH MAT SCORE:-

If you have MAT score is good then you are applicable for below colleges.

1) Alliance Business Academy Bangalore- High Fees and Big Talks but arouse from the Mist and it is THE best why? Great Placements ranging from Microsoft to ICICI Bank, get an average of around 40,000/- this year.

2)SCMS Cochin - Only thing bad about it is that it is in Cochin, its the second best according to me but people don't go because they think it is mainly a communication college

3)Indian Institute of Finance Delhi - Very fine refining of students is being done here, downpoint - they give only MBF so marketing students are not going to come.

4) Christ College Bangalore

5) Birla Institute of Technology Delhi

6) Fortune Institute of International Business Delhi

7) IMS Ghaziabad
