After passing B.SC Computer Science you can join Indian Air Force. For this you have to qualify the Combine Defence Services Exam. C.D.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year. The age limit for C.D.S exam is 19-23 year for Indian Air Force. For C.D.S exam you should be medically fit. IMPORTANT DATE FOR C.D.S. You can apply for the Indian Air force after the graduation through Combined defence service examination and through Air force common admission test(AFCAT). Both of the exams are conducted twice in a year. To apply for both of the exams you need the following qualification. Education Qualification Candidate should be graduate in any discipline and should have physics and maths at 10+2 level. Those appeared in the final year examination are also eligible to apply for this examination. This exam is conducted twice a year in all major cities throughout India. Eligibility Criteria To join the NDA you need to fulfil the following requirements: * Age 16 ½ to 19 years* * Nationality Indian * Gender This is applicable only to men. * Educational Qualifications You should have passed your 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics. You can, however send us your application during your 10+2; provided you meet the eligibility criteria at the time of joining the Academy. Thanks |

Firstly there's an entrance written exam. These are: 1. CDS 2. AFCAT 3. TGC 4. UES The forms for them are available in the months of January and July. For written exams, you must prepare for subjects like: Mathematics History Aptitude Geography General Knowledge Current Affairs Solve past years papers for a better preparation. Best Of Luck |

Re: Job in Air Force after B.Sc (Computer science)? dear friend , to join the indian air force . there are two ways like you can join the air force through the NDA OR through IAFA OR CDS iafa is indian air force academy to get admission in the iafa one must be the graduate and having age between 21 years to 30 years.( for obc there is relaxation of 3 years and for sc/st there is relaxation of 5 years from the upper age limit.) cds and iafa are the entrance exam to join the air force which are conducted by the upsc. for more information about these exams kindly visit the website www.upsc.gov.in thanks |
