Its depends upon profile to profile . As you havnt mention for which govt . sector ,you are looking job. As there are many govt. sector ,where you can apply for after B.E.
But basically 60% marks in graduation in aggregate will let you eligible for almost any govt. job,you are looking for.

any govt jobs eligibility :

educational qualification :

any degree with 60% marks from a recognized university
sc/st 50% marks

age limit :
20 to 30 years for general candidates
20 to 33 years for obc candidates
20 to 35 years for sc/st candidates

so many job entrance exams eligible for get 45% marks for sc/st candidates
so exam are eligible for only qualifying the exams
