Hello Dear Friend, As you want to know about the Procedure to become Income Tax Officer being a final year student of M.Com course for this you have to qualify the entrance test. Income Tax Department conducts ITO exam every year. Eligibility Criteria :- Candidate should be graduate degree with good percentage from recognized university. Age of candidate should be between 18 to 27 years. Relaxation in upper age limit for sc/st/obc. You can apply by the online from the official website. http://www.ssconline.nic.in, http://ssc.nic.in Selection Process is based on written test and interview. Physical ability- for male- Height 157.5 cms,Chest 81 cms. Physical Test- Walking 1600 metres in 15 minutes Cycling 8 Km in 30 minutes. for female- Height 152 cms,Weight 48 Kg. This exam is conducted by the SSC(STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION) once a year. Graduate students are eligible for this exam. Candidate should be a citizen of india. Age limit for this exam 18-27 years 3 years age relaxation for OBC candidates 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST candidates. Application process only online. Eligibility criteria: the candidate should be complete the graduation from any recognized university. The B.tech BE candidates are eligible this exam. The final year candidates of B.tech studens are also available this exam. The applicant should be citizen of india. The eligible age to apply for the post of Income Tax Officer is between 18 to 27 years. Both male and female candidates are available for this exam. If you want to get job in a Income tax department then there are some of the different procedure which are as follows : - There is a provision from which you will get job as an Income tax inspector : * To give SSC graduation level test to become an income tax inspector and after the internal promotion, you will be the ITO. * Minimum qualification for this test is graduation in any stream. * There is no any % required for this test. * Minimum age of a candidate should be 21 years. - There is also a procedure in which you can directly appoint as a Additional commissioner of income tax but passing the IRS exam. This exam is conducted by UPSC every year. - - There is also one another provision to switch in the income tax field is that, a CA can be appointed as a Accounting Member in a Income Tax Tribunal(ITAT). But all this depends upon your knowledge and the qualification. |
