Educational Qualifications for the SBI Clerical exams is:
12th Pass with Minimum 60% marks or Graduation Pass

Age- Minimum 18 years
Maximum 28 years
OBC candidates gets 3 years age relaxations
SC/ST candidates gets 5 years age relaxations.

Dear There,

The acronym for SBI is State Bank of India.

SBI conducts every year bank examinations as Clerk and PO for those contenders who want to make their future in banking sector.

The eligibility criteria required for the SBI Clerk examinations are prescribed as below:-

* Completion of graduation in any stream from any recognized college or university.

* Final year contenders are not eligible.

* Age limit:- 18-28 yrs.

* Age relaxation:- 3 yrs for OBC and 5 yrs for SC/ST contenders.

* Nationality:- Indian.

The eligibility criteria required for the sBI PO examinations are prescribed as below:-

* Completion of graduation in any track from any accredited college or university.

* Percentage criteria is not required.

* Age limit:- 21-30 yrs.

* Age relaxation:- 3 yrs for OBC and 5 yrs for SC/ST contenders.

* Nationality:- Indian.

To prepare for SBI clerical exam you should follow these steps as under-

1. Focus on basics & concepts of mathematics for numerical ability as the standard of question will be of secondary level.

2. Read the reasoning/aptitude questions completely & understand it before choosing the correct answer.

3. Before answering the questions,plan on the sections that have to be answered first.

4. Start to answer from the paper which you are confident of & move to questions that consume time.

For the general awareness section follow a national news paper daily and any banking exam magazine. For the rest of the sections prepare from any SBI practice work book, as the question pattern of SBI is different from other banks.

Eligibility Criteria :-

  • The candidate should score minimum 60% percentage of marks and relaxation is applicable for sc/st candidates .
