Re: Can a B.Tech ECE student become a Pilot? hi, You can become a pilot in indian air force after completle your b.tech in ece by giving cds exam. Cds exam occur twice in year. This exam is conducated by upsc. To apply cds exam; 1-you have passed bachlor degree in engineering from a reconized university. 2-age limit is 19-23. 3-you should be fit physically as well as mentally. 4-you must be male,unmarried and indian citizen. You will get the CPL license after training for 130 Hours approximately The eligibiiliy criteria:Eligibility Criteria for CDS(Air Force Academy): *You should have completed Bachelor degree course in Engineering from recognized university. *Your Age should be in between 19 to 23 years. *You should be Male, Unmarried & Indian citizen. *You should be Physically & Mentally fit.
