Re: Can I join Indian Army in Technical Department after passing B.E degree in mechanical engineering with 74% marks in 10th and 54% in 12th? hi, dear friend youc an eligible for Army technical jobs, so you compulsory need degree(b.tect, b.sc, b.e) with aggregated percentage 55% for general category and sc/st need 45% for eligible for Army, also obc candidate required 50% for eligible. compulsory studies on grip in intermediate base subjects maths and physics, age limit 19years to 28years required and age relaxation to obc/sc/st candidate like as 3years relaxation to obc peoples and 5years relaxation for sc/st candidate. after your degree is completed so you can apply for technical jobs in Army. |

University Entry Scheme Technical Graduate Course Short Service Commission-Technical Branch In order to be eligible for the University Entry Scheme, you must be in the pre-final year of your engineering program. The minimum eligible age for this mode of entry is 19 years and teh maximum age limit is 25 years. For Technical Graduate Course, you must hold a degree in Engineering and must be within the age limit of 20-27 years. The age limit for the technical Graduate Course is also applicable for the Short Service Commission mode of entry. The training program for the Technical Graduate Course is conducted at Indian Military Academy whereas the training program for the Short Service Commission mode of entry is conducted at Officers Training Academy.
