Re: Should female candidates provide CRF stamp?

CRF stamp stands for central recruitment fees, it is a way of paying the fees for examination by purchasing stamps, and it is available in denominations of 50 and 100 in any post office in the country.
Its available in all the head post offices of the country.
If you are exempted from fees then you need not paste the stamp.
The women candidates are exempted from the examination fee.
You need not to be affixed the same

Re: Should female candidates provide CRF stamp?

"All female candidates and candidates belonging Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/ Physically Handicapped categories are exempted from payment of fee. No fee exemption is, however, available to OBC candidates and they are required to pay the prescribed fee in full."

this is written in the notification for the UPSC civil service preliminary examination notification. so female candidate should not give any CRF stamp.

actually you will provide CRF stamp or not it depends on the examination for which you are applying. you have not mentioned for which examination you are asking for. read the notification carefully there it will be clearly mentioned for female candidate they have to provide CRF stamp or not. so go through the notification of the particular examination.

best wishes.

Re: Should female candidates provide CRF stamp?

No female candidates are not required to provide CRF stamp in UPSC CSE(P) application form 2011.

Female candidates are exempted from paying the CSE(P) application fee of Rs. 50.

Since female candidates are exempted from fee payment they need not buy the CRF stamp of Rs.50 & get it cancelled from the posty office.

Should female candidates provide CRF stamp?

NO, THERE IS NO NEED OF CRF STAMP FOR ANY FEMALE CANDIDATES

The full form of CRF is Central Recruitment Fee and it is available in the form of stamp that is why we call it CRF Stamp. Through this government takes the cost of application form.
IMPORTANT POINTS ABOUT CRF STAMP
• Every candidates of general and OBC category are required to affix a CRF stamp of cost Rs 50 in the space provided on the application form.
• This CRF Stamp needs to be cancelled before pasting in application form
• There is no need of this CRF stamp for a Female candidates.
• SC and ST candidates are also not required to pay this amount means there is no need for them to fix any CRF Stamp

This CRF stamp can be obtained from any head post office allover india.

Re: Should female candidates provide CRF stamp?

Hi

To apply for the UPSC exam a candidate has to pay
Central Recruitment Fee(CRF) of Rs 100 if they are filling the
form offline.

But for the female candidates and candidates
belonging Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/ Physically Handicapped
categories will not have to give any fees.

So you don't need to pay any CRF for the UPSC exam.I have
also attached the notification with this forum where you found
that there is no fees required for the above category candidates.

Re: Should female candidates provide CRF stamp?

As you know that the CRF stands for Central Recruitment Fee Stamp.

Now, women candidates, SC/ST and Physically handicapped are exempted from paying the CRF stamp fees and can apply free of cost.

So as clearly mentioned, you need not buy the CRF stamp, hence you can send the form without any fee as you are exempted from paying any fees.

Re: Should female candidates provide CRF stamp?

Yes Girl you need not to Give 50 rupees for CRF stamp in order to Buy the upsc Form.

CRF means Central Recruitment Fee stamp which is of 50 rupees Every Candidate must pay the Prescribed fee only through this Stamp.

But No fee for SC & ST candidates. Physically handicapped persons are also exempted from payment of fee subject to submission of prescribed medical certificate.

No fee exemption is, however, available to OBC candidates and they are required to pay the full prescribed fee.

No fee for women candidates of any community.

But Note that

Candidates can purchase the Central Recruitment Fee Stamp in the denomination of Rs. 50/- available in Head Post Offices, all Departmental Post Offices (i.e. down to sub-post office level)

and selected Branch Post Offices throughout the Country and affix it in the space earmarked for the purpose in the application format and

get it cancelled by the Counter Clerk of the Post Office with the date stamp in such a manner that the impression of cancellation stamp partially

overflows on the application form itself taking care that the impression must be clear and distinct to facilitate the identification of the date of issue and issuing post offices.
