Now i would like to pursue MBA as distance learning, but there is lots and lots confusion. Can some one please suggest me Which is better option MBA hr or MBA hospital management? Which field have bright future? and what all the colleges provide such courses? last but not the least such degrees have value or not? please help me out. thanks |

I think that MB -Pharmaceutical Management is the Best Options since scope are very good and all the Pharma Companies now a day’s required trained and skill oriented profile. In MBA-Pharmaceutical Management, you will get the chance to work as a Intern in the summer Internship prog in good Pharma Companies and it will give you explore to work in Product Management Team, Market Research, Supply and Operation Management, Drug Discovery etc. You can note my email id; [email protected]. There is a new specialization -Pharmaceutical management and drug regulatory affairs in MPharmacy offered in one of the JNTH Hyderabad colleges. Its not a bad idea to consider it in the discussion. There is a lot of requirement for this specialization and pay scale is also higher. |

Dear Sunil, I would like to suggest you to go for M.Pharma after completion of B.Pharma because Pharmacy is your field so you can became a master of Pharmacy. If you go for MBA, I think this is not advisable to you, because any graduate can do MBA where as any graduate can not do the M.Pharma. Rest depends upon your interest quietly think and take decision.. All the best. |

Warm Greeting for the day; First of all be calm and don't take too much of tension. coming to Your Question According to me There is a better option for You to join MBA with Pharmaceutical Because this course is a great demand in Medical industry and this same course has done by one of my friend and he is earning a handsome salary, Why i am suggesting this course means you have already a degree in Pharma if you will do MBA(Pharmaceutical) then you are capable of doing managerial work as well as pharmaceutic work means all-rounder . Re: Which one of M.Pharm. and MBA is a better career option after B.Pharm.? hi... both the courses are completely different, you have to be very careful to choose between these two courses, as far as m.pharma is concerned its an completely core subject for you and it will be continuation of what you have studied in your graduation level, where as mba will be an complete different and new field for you, more over if you do m.pharma you will get an job related to your field but in mba you will get an job in any company but that may not necessarily be an company of your field, so think about it all the best |

The admission for M.Pharm is by GPAT- Graduate pharmaceutical Aptitude Test which is conducted by AICTE- All India Council of Technical Education. MBA will also be a good option and in fact it is the most demanding course in these days. You can enter into any type of sector once you complete your MBA. You can also pursue in your MBA in life science subjects like -MBA in pharmaceutical management -MBA in hospital management And you can also pursue your MBA in traditional specializations like Finance, Marketing, Human Resource and Systems. Just getting MBA for the sake of certificate, it does not fetch you anything. Try to be good at communicational skills, soft skills and have an understanding of the changes taking place in the outside environment. Try to finish MBA from famous B-schools so that there is good value for your certificate and good job prospects too. |

If you take up MBA you will be deviating from the stream and moving towards a management or administrative role. If you take up M.Pharm then you will be going for further specialisation. In terms of salary too there is not too much of difference. You need to decide based on the job you would like doing. |
