Indian Air force in the Metereology department. For the Metereology department you have to select the ground duty branch. You can apply for the Ground duty branch through the following entry scheme. 1. Combined Defence Service examination Through this entry scheme you can apply for the Indian Air force in the ground duty branch. The eligibility reuired for the CDS entry scheme is given below. Education QUALIFICATION Candidate should be graduate and should have physics and maths upto 10+2 level. Those appeared in the final year examination are also eligible. For more information visit at the UPSC web site www.upsc.gov.in 2.AFCAT entry Through this entry also you can apply for the Indian Air force for ground duty branches. Re: How to join Meteorological Department of Defense after BSc Physics? you could join the metrological department of Indian Air Force by two enteries- 1. CDS- This exam is conducted by the UPSC. it is a written exam having papers like Maths, general awareness etc. once you have got selected in it you have to face the SSB interview. 2. AFCAT- It is being conducted by the Indian air force itself once in an year it contains the subjects like maths, general english, reasoning etc. you have to apply for the ground duty section of the exam. After selection you have to face the SSB interview. |
