Hi GATE stands for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering and it is one of the toughest post graduate exams in India which is conducted by the IIT's every year in the month of February to select candidates for the M.Tech programs in the IIT's NIT's and various other technical colleges in our country. This year the IIT's had decided to make the admission process easier and more convenient for the students by making it online. The Official GATE Website can be followed by Clicking Here Now a lot of candidates like you have lost or forgotten their GATE Application number. -> In that case, first of all I would suggest you to visit the above mentioned official website and then enter your ID and Password and try to obtain a duplicate Application. Then you may get back your Application number from there. -> If not, then you have to visit the nearest IIT Head office to your zone and from there you would be notified of your Application number. -> If you have got your admit card, then you can see your application number from it also. If not, you need to download it from the Official website of the IIT of your zone. You would get the details about them also in the above mentioned website. Kindly do so, before the exam date which is tomorrow 12th February 2012 (Sunday). All the best. Regards #RJ#

To all the students who missed gate application no.s : --> simply go to the below link http://www.iitk.ac.in/gate/gate2012/contact.php --> select the contact no. based on the centre u hae applied for. --> Call him and tell ur details. HE WILL RESPOND TO YOU AND TELL UR APPLICATION NO. WITHI A FEW MINUTES |

Re: What should I do after loosing GATE application number? you can check it on challan copy of bank or you can also check the receipt of post of form. you can contact the post office or try to guess it and check it "ALL THE BEST" |
