Re: Is there any vacancy for professor in Law College in Mumbai or Thane? Job Description Details: Post reserved for Open. The above posts are open to all, however candidates from any category can apply for the post. Reservation for women & disabled persons will be as per rule. Candidates having knowledge of Marathi will be preferred. The qualification and pay scale for the post of Assistant Professor & Librarian are as prescribed by the UGC & University of Mumbai from time to time. For the post/s of Assistant Professor & librarian NET/SET shall remain minimum eligibility condition for recruitment and appointment in the Colleges/Institutions. Provided, however, that candidate who are or have been awarded Ph.D. degree in compliance of the University Grants Commission (Minimum standards and procedure for the award for Ph.D. degree) regulation, 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of the NET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent position in Colleges / Institutions. Relaxation of 5 percent provided from 55 percent to 50 percent at the P.C. Degree level to SC & ST Categories. Applicants who are already employed must send their application through proper channel. Applicants are required to account for breaks. If any in their academic career. The details of the qualification pay scale & allowance will be supplied on request from applicants. |
