The NDA examination is conducted by UPSC.
The age limitation for the exam is 16.5 to 19 years.

before you completed your 12th exam then you can apply Army
Eligibility for NDA exam:-

For Army wing:-

1.Candidate must have complete the 12th in any trade.
2.Candidates age should be in between 16.5-19 years.
3.Candidate must be a citizen of India.
4.Candidate must be physically fit.

There are two entry schemes in Indian Army after passing 12th board exams.

National Defence Academy Examination

The NDA examination is conducted by UPSC.
The age limitation for the exam is 16.5 to 19 years.
The exact cut off date of birth is mentioned in the notification of the exam
which is published in national dailies and Employment News and also on UPSC
official website http://www.upsc.gov.in/.
The notification of the exam has been published already.
The last date of applying for the exam is 4th June 2012.

The other entry scheme is TECHNICAL ENTRY SCHEME (10+2 TES)

You can apply for this exam only if you have studied PCM in 10+2 and have scored
70% or more marks in aggregate in 12th.
The exam is conducted by Indian Army itself.
The notification for the exam is published in Employment news.
